Pavers are an amazing building product, and can also be used for more creative uses, such as fire pits. Pavers make great fire pits because they absorb the heat and do not warp or crack under the extreme heat of a fire. Some companies have gone as far as producing kits specifically for fire pits. Pavers are slightly more expensive than basic concrete, but can be expensive on the high end depending on the style of paver. - How long does it take to install?
On average it takes a week to build a normal 3 car driveway, some can take as long as 2 weeks depending on the level of detail in the driveway. - Will they last?
With proper installation and a top quality sealer applied every 5 years, pavers are undoubtedly more resilient than traditional grey concrete and as a bonus do not crack like typical concrete slabs. - Do I need a permit?
Depending on where you live, a permit is typically not necessary. *HOA approval typically is needed
